A fantastic apartment with everything you need for a stay in Siena. Small but usable kitchenette, and having a fridge/freezer and washing machine was great for an extended stay. Very clean and lovely features including the painted fresco style ceiling in the living room and the wooden beams in the bedroom. The terrace is a great addition and a lovely area to sit out. Hosts were attentive, easy to contact, and check in/check out process was very straightforward. Great location. Short walk to the Duomo and Palazzo del Campo. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, recommend Osteria del Gatto. Even though Via Stalloreggi runs off Via di Citta which can be very busy, the Castelvecchio area does have its own sense of identity, including the different Contradas. Great for the education institutions nearby including scuole Dante Algheri.

Nothing not to like just be prepared for stairs and hills in Siena!
