Vasiliki Island view house

The property is a little bit away from the town centre but this was absolutely fine for us. A walk into town was about 10 minutes. The main draw for us was the views from the balcony of this property. The website pictures are good but in reality it was much better. We made use of the balcony most days and it was sheltered from the sun in the afternoon/evening making it a great spot to have a drink and nibbles before going out to dinner. The place was well kitted out and furnished. The bed was comfy. We had a car and were able to park it in the street quite easily. From this location you can quickly drive out of town without having to negotiate tight busy roads as found in the town centre. It is also located a couple of minutes walk for a supermarket and a couple of nice restaurants which we made good use of.

However, the bathroom was the main issue. There seemed to be a bad smell that just would not go away. We wondered if it was a case of bad drain work and/or possibly a syphon not working properly. The only time the smell lessened was when we showered. But it didn't take long for the smell to return. I also had some concerns about the ageing hydrotherapy shower. The plastic cracked and creaked under foot so we were not entirely sure how much strength was left in the plastic tray. Given it still appeared to be wired to the mains (albeit the control panel did not work) and given the showers age and seals/sealant I was a little nervous about whether water might be able to seep in behind and reach the electrics. We didn't have any problems but the thought did go through my mind each time I showered. A simple shower cubicle would be much more appropriate.

Very nice and comfortble place to stay with a fantastic romantic view...clean apartment nice furniture price for value .Everything is very near food hospital supermarket and the beaches were awesome and very near....I recommend it definetly.....
