Countryside Home in London

Hosts were very nice and communicative. We appreciated their flexibility and possibility to use the kitchen. Room was as advertised with wardrobe, little fridge, table and TV. Private bathroom was great option and one of the reasons we booked this property. The family dog is super nice and playful.

Everything was good, as advertised by the family, there are kids so if you want to wake up late during the week, that’s not a good option for you.

We didn't like any of it, felt like it was completely missold

Owners could not be contacted, lodgers with broken English had to help us, kitchen had musky smell, garden was full of left over 7 year old birthday decorations, bed uncomfortable, no lamp, no fire alarm in room, no mention that this is a ULEZ zone, wrong pin provided for entry. Bed broken, no sofa or anywhere comfortable to relax. Bathroom leads straight to a communal kitchen so if someone is in there and you want to come out of the bath you have to wait. Literally a bedroom (no lock) a separate bathroom not ensuite, ULEZ charged zone, no space on drive to park when we arrived, had to ask them to make space with the car already their parked in the middle of the drive. To be honest we considered leaving and just getting a hotel. Just awful. To answer hosts response: - bed was broken, look at the bottom of it there is a large gap between where the mattress ends and the bed actually stops with tappered edges that are falling apart. - we are from up north so no, as there was no mention of ulez whatsoever we did not know it was a ulez charged zone - we did not demand 2 spaces, but your description does clearly state free off street parking and as one of our cars was not ulez compliant we asked to park in a driveway spot for one car, we did not 'demand' or ask for a space for the other car, which is why it remained on the street all week Also, surprised at the 'worse guests ever' comment, we bleached and cleaned everything, we stripped down the sheets before we left and put them in the washing machine for you and wiped everything down. Our full days were spent out and the lovely lodgers that were living there both commented on our kindness and of course we didn't meet you, so that comment seems to come from a place of bitterness at our honest review.

Everything about that house is exceptional it only needs a tv and a lock to the door..The staffs are amazing and the room,, the bathroom and the toilet are all super clean spotless. Can't wait to go back there..
