Lake District Luxury Lodge

Lovely place in a very nice location. Well furnished and very cosy. Communication also excellent from the owner.

For me, the bed was too soft but that's a personal preference, for someone else it may have been perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. It was comfortable and accessible for all. The living room was very homely and cosy and felt like a home away from a home. It is beautifully decorated and the lodge has all amenities you can ask for. Tony, the host, was very helpful and provided lots of information about the property and attractions nearby. Cockermouth is around a 10 minute drive and is a wonderful town to visit. We would be happy to go again and would recommend this place to couples and families who want a little break without breaking the budget.

Beautiful lodge situated as described by owner. Welcome pack much appreciated. The lodge was furnished so well, with everything you could possibly need. Very clean, spacious and cosy, lovely views from the large front balcony window and peaceful to relax. Very well maintained site, and enclosed dog exercise area brilliant. Excellent communication from Tony at all times, and available to chat via mobile. Location great to visit other areas. We went to Allonby beach, Cockermouth and Keswick on our short break. Also lovely coffee shop next door. Homemade cooking and very popular. Overall a great stay to relax, unwind and totally enjoy. Will be back to stay again in 2025. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing!

It was a lovely, comfortable stay. Best stay we had in the luxury lodge. We would definitely book again. It exceeded expectations. Loved the welcome package. It was clean and tidy.

Really lovely little site with a little dog park. Not too far from cockermouth or Keswick which we both enjoyed. The lodge was lovely, clean and comfortable. Great communication from the host before we arrived with everything we needed. Loads of extras we didn’t expect such as washing up liquid, tea, coffee and biscuits were an added bonus.

The road noise was constant day and night which is to be expected situated next to a busy road. It wasn’t an issue for us at night as we are heavy sleepers but may be an issue for light sleepers so id recommend ear plugs if this is the case

Information sent before arrival was very welcoming and informative. The Lodge was very nicely presented internally and externally. The location was great, with good road links in every direction to attractions. The Bluetooth speakers/surround sound in the lounge ceiling was great. The balcony was a bonus too, ideal for breakfast at a different time of the year.

Fantastic services. Host even changed our booking date last moment to accommodate our work plans. Thanks again .
