Budapest Magic in Downtown

Highly recommend this apartment! It's your number one choice in Budapest... if you want to be kicked out on a rainy afternoon the day you check in. If you're looking for a charming host—let’s call him the “Friendly Giant”—a tall, plump guy who points his finger at you like you’re auditioning for a scolding contest, yelling at you for being "rude" no less than 20 times (though the only rude words in the conversation come from him). Oh, and if you enjoy being greeted with a cheery "What's wrong with you?" not once, but twice, upon arrival, this is your dream stay! Expect a host whose facial expression screams “get out” as he oh-so-patiently shows you around—until, surprise surprise, he actually kicks you out. But not before declaring he's the king of guest experiences, which is why he must meet you face-to-face, because apparently self check-in is, and I quote, "a piece of sh*t." Now, if you decide you’ve had enough and politely ask him to stop wagging his finger in your face, expect an immediate meltdown. He'll shout at you to leave on the spot, and, to really enhance the guest experience, will demand that you cancel your booking while still in the apartment, although clearly, you weren’t the one who wanted out. Feeling unsafe? Don’t worry, he’ll kindly recommend a “cheap hostel” nearby, dripping with sarcasm, until you finally have to tell him to stop talking (which, by the way, was the rudest thing you said the whole time). Then, off you go, into the rain, looking for a last-minute hotel, while your charming host continues harassing you via Booking messages, pressuring you to cancel or else he’ll charge you for the privilege of being yelled at. And finally, when you think it can't get worse, you’ll discover that Booking.com's "support" is as helpful as a chocolate teapot. So, if you're ready to be treated like this and let others fall into the same trap, go ahead—book away!

Everything Peter is a great host, very kind and respectful person exceptional and the apartment marvelous 👌 good location near Everything we really enjoyed Budapest Peter provided instructions the first day we use and was just excellent no need to call him he explained with litle details very clear and appropriate

A great welcome from Peter. The small flat was really nice and suitable to accomodate 2 persons ,we had a good relax , very comfortable bed, kitchen well equipped with all the necessary, closed to the centre 2 minutes walk Bath with dispensers and wash machine . Peter was really kind and at disposal anytime suggesting how to move in Budapest, attractions and suggested local where to have breakfast, lunch and dinner . Really reccommended ! Thanks Peter!

Peter is an amazing host. He gave us tremendous advice on local restaurants and sights to see. The room was great with plenty of room and comfortable bed. The washer was a huge bonus for us as we had been traveling for 9 days already. The location was superb too. Right in the heart of the city’s action and great restaurants.

We loved our stay in this apartment. It is beautiful inside and very clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities you need and Peter the host was so helpful meeting us and giving advice on where to go in Budapest and was on hand for any questions. The location is really handy with shops and places to eat very close and no further than a 10 min walk to the main city centre attractions. It felt very safe and I would highly recommend Budapest Magic if you are in Budapest!

The location is perfect! You are within easy walking distance to so much. The beds are very comfortable and our host was so helpful in recommending restaurants and points of interest. We were very pleased with our stay and would come back here again.

Our internet went out but that is no fault of our host, of course. Not a huge deal since we were out and about most of the time.
