The owner was very supportive and the hotel itself is functional and clean. He arranged transport and food. There were squirrels and birds living in the garden in front of my room and saw the potential for the area as a whole. Once you got over the curent genuine neighbourhood impact - stray dogs, the odd cow and a dirt road, I enjoyed staying there. It was safe and I probably got more out of lodging at a Sandane Home than a big Western branded hotel with other Westerns.

The development the hotel is located in is unfinished and some sites are abandoned. This is not the owner's fault and in simple terms is representative of anywhere I have been in India that is not on a luxury compound. Greater Noida was sold out and I booked late so the price was heavy but tolerable.

The hotel is new and clean. The facilities are very good. Especially the hotel owner is extremely cute, enthusiastic and kind. I feel like I am at home. Highly recommended
