The Secret Garden Hideaway

Absolutely exquisite decor and attention to detail

Mosquitoes, couldn’t find any mosquito spray, and the fan was way too loud on the lowest setting to be able to sleep. Also there were no other plugs to move it to the other side of the room. I was excited to see the Nespresso, but there were no coffee pods. I had asked for a recommendation for a vegan restaurant but no response from host. Fortunately we found the delightful Carola Ann via google.

Cute little house that makes you feel like you are in your own little oasis. The host was really kind and quick to reply. They even came by to give us an extra home-made bread they just made, which was delicious! Everything you needed was provided, including tea, coffee, milk, shampoo and body wash. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Bees and mosquitoes

Very nicely done up space. With the lush garden surrounding the room it did feel like a little oasis. The bed also had a heated mattress (separate for each side of the bed), which was very welcome. Only complaint would be that the bathroom was a little too tiny. Also note that it's very near to drive to the main area with all the restaurants, but if you don't have a car it'd be too far to walk.

Toilet was too small to comfortably use the space, especially for my partner who is rather tall.

The amount of creatures and critters that move into the bathroom and kitchen if you leave lights on are very bad. Suddenly your whole room is filled with moths, even with doors closed. They left no toiletpaper or bug killer.

Minimal/no communication. No details given on the sauna facilities and barbecue. Overall we did not feel very welcomed.

The Secret Garden Hideaway is a separate little house. It is hidden away by a beautiful jungle like garden. Even though you are close to the parking spots and gate you feels very secluded and have privacy. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen was equipped with everything for snacks and breakfast (not for cooking). The windows and doors can be covered at night so no one can see inside.

The house is tiny! We didn’t mind, but you have to navigate around each other and in the bathroom it’s a tight fit between toilet and sink. The shower is very spacious though. There is not much space to be besides the bed and the chairs outside.
