The Little Hexthorpe house

Everything, you can not fault this place for any type of getaway.

Location, very private, and the house itself is amazing. Very high spec and has everything you need.

Exactly what we needed for a great price. Both Hot tubs were ready for us before we got there and the proper one was absolutely massive. Didn't even end up needing the layzee spa. Thanks Shaun definitely come back.

Perfect little place. Stayed before and will stay again. Now has 2 x Hottubs. Private secure parking behing full height lockable gates.

Was a last minute booking but was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and its little extras(hot tubs)😊

There was no coffee or tea or even a drop of milk for a brew.

Everything fine with the property sadly it’s the aggressive rude host that’s the problem

The large hot tub was filled and up to temperature I’m guessing ready for potential use. The water was filthy I couldn’t see to the bottom and would have ended up with a serious skin infection had I stepped a foot in there. Also the host as above is beyond rude and a liar. He rang me with an immediate intimidating tone suggesting I left the hot tub switched off. I explained I didn’t (I own a hot tub myself). He ranted and raved not allowing me the opportunity to speak and then hung up on me. He proceeded to send me rude messages. Firstly he claimed I didn’t remove the lid and went in the hot tub without taking it fully off. He said this punctured his lid. This was fake news and didn’t happen. The lid was taken off and put on a flat surface as he requested. He was unsurprisingly unable to send me proof of the punctured lid (because there is none). I left three clips off the hot tub lid when I put it back on as I was physically unable to stretch the lid to clip them. He called me a liar and said that wasn’t the case I hadn’t taken it off. He stated he now had to refund his guests arriving tonight. Again this was fake news as I am currently still able to book this property for tonight? So who is the liar? I’ll let you figure that one out for yourselves. We cleaned and put away every utensil glass mug and cup we used. Cleaned down every work surface, even put the linen in the washing machine ready for him to try and be helpful. We are respectful people, but unfortunately have been made out to be liars and in the owners words “lazy guests”. I have all abusive messages saved on my phone for evidence. I am truly astounded by his behaviour and it has left a very sour note on my treat weekend away. Book to stay here if you enjoy being insulted and aggressively accused of all sorts by an intimidating man.
