Check in process online was easy. Beautiful view of the mountains and away from the main town of Cortina. Free parking. House has a great porch to sit out and enjoy the views. It was good for our family of 6.

A little hard to find at first but the directions from the owners helped out a lot to locate the side street to get to the apartment. The kitchen was a little tight but it had everything we needed to cook.

This apartment is very comfortable and has great views. It has a rustic charm that we liked. I loved sitting on balcony watching all the goings on in the little hamlet. It was also great that you can self checkin and do not have to go into centre of Cortina - as I had read for other properties in the area. Mary kept in touch via the Booking.com app with very good checkin/arrival instructions, to check we were settled in ok and to let us know checkout details, and a final thank you for staying message after we had left. Buses run every hour or so to/from Cortina town centre back to straight across from the property and also nice walk along the old railway track straight into Cortina from just outside property - which was great. You get the bus in the direction of back to the mainroad and don't be concerned that it carries on in opposite direction from Cortina for a few more stops, then it heads to Cortina without coming back down to the hamlet again. We had fantastic visit up to Cinque Torri.

Cortina is obviously a very expensive place to stay so this was fairly expensive but cheaper than everything else that we looked at as this was booked short notice. So not a criticism of the apartment but more Cortina area in general. We also don't think Cortina has got its bus services right. It was OK to and from the property, but not often enough to key places such as Cinque Torri with big gaps between buses and very full. This compares to Val Gardena - where buses are frequent and free if you are staying there with a guest-pass. A similar approach would reduce traffic congestion in Cortina and on the passes.

The apartment is located a bit further from the city centre, which we actually appreciated — it allowed us to enjoy the peace and beautiful views. The apartment itself is very cosy and exceptionally well-equipped, from the washing machine to the fully stocked kitchen. It might feel a bit small and tight for six people, but having two bathrooms and a spacious balcony is definitely a big plus. We really enjoyed our stay here.
