Great location with everything you need nearby walking distance (grocery shops, restaurants, coffee shops), or a short tuktuk ride away from downtown core. Room was extremely spacious, and provided enough space for all of our belongings and even had a kettle and cutlery. Everything was clean and comfortable, we would definitely stay here again when we are back in Colombo.

The room was well-equipped with a kettle, dishes, a hairdryer, air conditioning, and even a washing machine. However, there was no shower gel or shampoo provided - just a bar of soap.

It took me some time to figure out which gate to use to enter, as there was no sign. It turned out I just needed to push open the large metal gates. The shower water was moderately warm, and at times even cold, which was a bit inconvenient.

A great house with lovely family

**NEVER BOOK TO STAY HERE** When I arrived at the location at 8pm, the gates were locked, no entry and when I called the host he wasn’t sure of the booking. Said he’ll check and call. He didn’t. When I called back he said he was locating the person to open. After 10 minutes I called again, he said he’ll call back in 5 minutes. After 10 minutes no call from him. When I called he kept disconnecting my calls. Then stopped answering my calls. Was left standing on the road at night with my luggage, no where to go. Had to then get a cab and find another place for the night. Terrible experience. Should not be listed.

The host and the whole experience

The room is very big and comfortable. Overall the place is beautiful, the house looks very vintage with old books and amazing furniture, spiral ladder. Also the nicest cat lives there ☺️ and they have wonderful garden The owners are really friendly and caring. Our room also had washing machine and coffee machine, plates, cups, kettle It's like home.
