We absolutely loved everything it was the perfect location and the perfect pod, has everything you need and the hot tub was really relaxing whilst watching the fish in the lake :)

Beautiful lodge very clean and cosy. Relaxing surroundings made it a lovely weekend away.

The place was absolutely amazing! Pictures can't capture its true beauty; you have to see it in person. It's surrounded by nature, and the view of the lake is stunning, especially at night while luxuriating in the soothing embrace of the bubbling hot tub.

We really enjoy cold drinks, but it was a bit frustrating that there was no freezer, just a fridge. So we had to make some errands to go close by local shops to get ice. Other than that, everything else was great!

Such a beautiful compact cabin that smelt amazing as it’s brand new and had absolutely everything you would need for a couple nights stay. Everything is really thought-out and placed in the best way for utilising!

The glamping pod and the fishing were superb!! Everything you could possibly need was there from a welcome box with chocolates, biscuits and crisps, milk and orange juice in the fridge down to the smallest detail like cotton buds on the dresser! We were given a bag of charcoal for the BBQ and a bag of logs and the kitchen was very well equipped- we could have literally turned up with clothes and food everything else was there! Bed is amazingly comfortable and the hot tub was superb looking out over the lake! Mark was a perfect host we couldnt have wished for better, highly recommended

There wasnt anything that we didnt like

Where do i start.....from the moment we arrived to the second we left,its was the PERFECT 2 night break. We got a lovely welcome from Mark,a tasty little cupcake on arrival at reception....then when we got to the pod....WOW!!! i had seen the pictures,but when you're there in person its a hell of a lot better. they have thought of everything,there was even a welcome pack,box of chocolates,crisps,marshmallows for the fire-pit outside,cold bottle of orange juice and water in the fridge. the bed had lovely clean linen,fresh towels in a lovely little bathroom. slippers and bathrobes were a lovely finish,especially after being in the hot tub. we had the pleasure of using the bbq and made a lovely little salad whilst watching the ducks and fish in the little lake right on our doorstep. perfect little getaway. chester city centre was 30min drive for us,but couldnt wait to come back and relax here. most definitely be back in the near future

theres absolutely nothing i could fault here....if i had to say anything at all....i would recommend having a large footstool maybe for the sofa area to stretch your legs(this is only because we were on the sofa a long time and being lazy 😂)but its clearly not an issue

Absolutly amazing place to stay! Peaceful quiet location. Gorgeous pod everything very clean - hot tub is a great addition too. Just what we needed after a day at oulton park race track which was only 8 mins away. We will definatly be back here in the near future. :)
