This is a gem. A great friendly welcome, lovely room, super location off the beaten track with a beautiful vista from the dining room, across a wide valley. Carlo and Carla obviously love the place and are enthusiastic about the area and its local produce, which they use as much as possible. Some of that is their own, such as the oil from their own olive trees. They provided a delicious tasting menu dinner, with some Dutch influences - home from home for me as an Anglo-Dutchman - but made with local Italian produce and wines. They had time on the morning of our departure to chat about the land and how they are using it. A bonus is the wild flower meadow stretching away from the dining room window, full of butterflies on a warm sunny October morning. Really enjoyed our brief stay here - wish it could have been longer.

Make sure you carry enough speed when driving up the slope, when leaving from the bottom of the steep gravel drive. I underestimated it, which made for a few interesting moments. To give Carlo credit, he had warned us about it.

Beautiful place, amazing views, nice room with the relaxing outdoor space, ok pool, super nice owners and the best of all was the food! The dinner was 5 course tasting menu with a lot of different tastes, really well and beautiful combined. The owner is a well recognised chef. We loved it here.
