HOTEL BOUTIQUE a ESPLANADA

This hotel was a terrific value for an overnight stay, at 70 euros. The room was small but had a very comfortable king bed, good air conditioning and they had a very nice patio out back, where we were able to enjoy our store-bought dinner and chat with other guests. They had free parking for our motorcycles, which was terrific and the town was walking distance from the hotel. The electronic check-in worked well.

The bathroom was disappointing; very small and hot water took a very long time to get hot. OK, understandable. It is what it is. Our main issue was dirty tile grout, toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet, just a general lack of bathroom cleanliness, which is the one area that should be easily improved. Would I stay there again? Likely not. I would recommend it for a budget-minded overnight stay.

The railway/bus station is a 10 min walk from the hotel. We had front door & bedroom door entry codes yet still received a warm welcome & a set of keys on our arrival. Our room was clean with a large en suite shower room & small balcony. The bed was very comfortable, topped with a fresh cotton duvet & two small welcome chocolates. The room had various accoutrements including a ‘fridge, a microwave oven & coffee pod machine. Although the hotel does not offer any food service they had provided a comprehensive basket of various drinks & snacks. Additionally there are a plethora of bars, restaurants & pastelarias for meals & drinks within easy walking distance.
