"Great place to stay in Moalbol"

Lovely little room, convent location near everything you could possibly need. Great air con, only 2 rooms here! It was so cute,

Shower pressure low but there is a bucket to wash with also. Staff not around,

Close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. Nice garden and little common area.

Shower pressure was so low it took me 20min to wash my hair. Ended up using a bucket, more effective. Was allegedly fixed the day after we left. Bathroom is outside which was a bit weird. Inside on the floor there were many little bugs.

We liked the big outdoor bathroom. We used the bucket shower as the installed shower was only a drizzle. We had the place for ourselves which was quite nice. Location is great too if you want to be near the beach and the restaurants. Naturally it wasn’t very quiet. But I think more quiet as in other places around here. Staff was helpful if you needed something.

Air condition is very loud. We asked for a ventilator and used that instead. Mosquitoes are a problem. You need a Mosi-Net. Fortunately we had one so everything was fine.

This “Tropical Garden Cabin” is really more of a home stay. You walk down a dirt alley way where other local homes are. The location is convenient, but it’s not quiet. You can definitely hear the partying and of course the roosters, but that is to be expected. Has some running water but it’s more of a bucket shower place. Could use a mosquito net as the insects infiltrate. I will say it did keep out the torrential rains we had! While we were there, there was a very sick dog that visited us each evening and slept on the little rug. We bought a bag of dog food and fed her each day we were there. If you do plan to come to Philippines, maybe bring some Nexguard for the dogs. I know I will next time 🥺
