Be Zanzibar Boutique Hotel

I had a truly extraordinary stay at Be Zanzibar Boutique Hotel. Honestly, I am leaving feeling rested, nourished, emotionally lighter and alive again. This was not simply hospitality it felt like being held with genuine care, dignity and humanity throughout my entire stay. What made this place so special was that it delivered luxury without arrogance, warmth without performance, and professionalism without distance. In a world where so many luxury spaces can feel transactional, performative or rooted in exclusivity, Be Zanzibar felt deeply human and community-centred. There was a softness and intentionality to the care that I will never forget. The General Manager, Camille, is truly exceptional. Her kindness, compassion and attentiveness shaped the entire atmosphere of the hotel. She checked in on me daily with such sincerity and made me feel genuinely at home rather than simply like a guest passing through. Leadership like hers creates a culture of care that you can feel across the whole space. The reception team, especially Yusuf and Lilian, were world class. Warm, professional, thoughtful and deeply welcoming from beginning to end. Salome in the restaurant was remarkable and brought so much joy and care to every interaction. Fadila looked after my room beautifully every single day with such attention and consistency. And Jeff, the restaurant supervisor, genuinely became like a brother to me during my stay — one of those rare people whose warmth and generosity stays with you long after you leave. And then there is the location itself. Absolutely breathtaking. Without question one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. Waking up to those ocean views from my bed each morning is something I genuinely think I will carry with me forever. The water, the stillness, the sunsets, the softness of the air it all felt healing. I rested deeply here. I ate incredibly well. I laughed. I slowed down. I reconnected with myself. Nuestra estancia en Be Zanzibar fue un sueño. Las habitaciones de diseño ideales, el personal super atento en todo momento, las vistas desde la piscina increíbles y la comida deliciosa. Era nuestra luna de miel y nos trataron de 10!! Volveríamos con los ojos cerrados
