Be Zanzibar Boutique Hotel

The most amazing place, where every single detail has been thought out. The views of the ocean are unreal and the hotel has the most amazing, relaxing vibe and feel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and really made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The curated and well thought activities complement the peaceful vibe of Be Zanzibar so well and we especially loved the pottery, yoga and sailing on the Dhow. The food was so fresh and flavourful and very refreshing to see a hotel so focussed on wellness and health. Our room was extremely spacious and had eveything we required and the interiors and decoration of the place was just beautiful. Do note that the food is plant and fish based but the menu has such variety and eggs are served at breakfast. Alcohol isn’t available to purchase however, you can bring your own and they will serve it. Absolutely loved our stay and would come back!

We stayed at Be Zanzibar for a few days after completing a safari in Tanzania for our honeymoon, and honestly, I don’t even know where to start. Even though we were a bit unlucky with the weather, the hotel was absolutely incredible. The restaurant is simply outstanding — every single dish we tried was delicious, without exception (which, to be honest, really surprised me for a hotel restaurant in Zanzibar!). The setting, the pool, the layout, the décor, the artistic touch, the beach, the staff — everything was impeccable. We also loved the yoga class with Lara and the massages at the spa — both were amazing. In short, everything about this place was fabulous. You won’t find another hotel like this one on the island (or anywhere else, really).

Amazing pool and facilities Comfortable & spacious room Staff are so so friendly - they even provided the most beautiful private dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday ❤️ We enjoyed the free boat trip, pottery class & sunrise yoga!
