Bobocabin Kawah Ijen, Banyuwangi

L’emplacement près du mont ijen parfait pour faire la randonnée. Les cabines sont pleines de charmes avec tout le confort et les équipements nécessaires.

Le restaurant a beaucoup de plats à la carte mais souvent en rupture de stock, donc pas beaucoup de choix.

Everything was fantastic

We stayed here 3 nights and we absolutely loved it, the scenery was just so beautiful and the cabin itself was lovely. We really enjoyed sitting outside and having a coffee, you can literally see Ijen and we enjoyed the view. Very modern cabins with kettles, tea, etc and a good clean shower and bathroom. The staff were friendly and came round everyday to change towels, make beds etc. My children LOVED controlling the nature sounds and lights from the app and changing the glass to frosted etc (easily pleased! Ha!). It’s literally a 5 minutes walk to where all the hikers begin their Ijen hike. After we had done ours, we were super glad to be able to just go back to our cabin and chill and grateful for it being so close. They have somewhere to buy food. You can get hot meals and breakfast as well as drinks and snacks but it is a little pricey. We mostly walked the 5 minutes to the restaurants/ food places just up the road. For a small cost they will come and light your fire pit for the cold evenings (it does get cold!!) and they sell marshmallows.

Not a huge deal as we ate dinner else where, but unless you sit on your bed, there isn’t anywhere indoors to eat and as soon as the sun goes down, it gets very cold outside!

Food was delayed and not too good

Newly built cabin for guest who want to stay close to nature. I stayed for 1 night. Check-in using Bobobox apps and need to be ready before arrive. Reason I chose this cabin cause it was close to Ijen Crater and easy access for me before start hiking the next day. Staff were friendly, cabin neatly prepared for guest and since this cabin was newly built everything was new and good. Cabin access through smartphone and make sure you are leaving your room along with smartphone. Otherwise you can't go in. Weather unexpected change but it's nice. Mist all day during my stay.

Menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all the same. No different and some of the menu is not available. Bobomart doesn't have much option to pick for the guest and need to be paid through QR code which I find very hard for international guest like me. I was noticing the cleanliness around the cococabin was not maintaining. The bin was full, fast food cup left by irresponsible guest was not clean the whole day during my stayed.
