The help from the helper Thulanie was awesome.

But having to shower with no hot water in the cold winter morning is not a joke. Then the number you get on the booking site to contact the person in charge( Andries) is the wrong number. Not impressed at all. Only later that afternoon after getting hold of Thulanie could he help get the hot water problem sorted out(no gas) for the unit. I will give Thulanie 5 stars and Andries the owner 0 stars. Will definitely not go again or recommend it to anybody.

The cottage was comfortable, spacious and well equipped with everything that we needed for our two night stay. The balcony is a lovely space to enjoy reading and relaxing. Seeing the sheep and ostriches roaming around adds to the farm like atmosphere. The cottage provided the peaceful and quiet accommodation that we required for a short retreat.

No complaints

Totally off the grid — no TV and no WIFI. Great set up for cooking on gas. I loved being on a farm. Waking up early to see the hot air balloons was very peaceful. (I have been in a hot air balloon a few times before).

I noticed there were blankets on the bed but they weren’t thick enough and we were cold the first night which wasn’t great. They have quite a few units which I didn’t realise from the photos — I’m sure it gets busy on weekends and in the summer months.)

No hot water in bathroom basin. Struggled getting hot water in shower. Rooms were ice cold. Lack of mirrors in bedroom. Mirror in bathroom placed too high. No proper heating in cabin

Its quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Second time coming here will definitely come back again when I need a break from the city. Andea is the best always available when one needs assistance. We had a pleasant stay💯

The cottage was clean.

The smell I assume from the river made me physically sick is smelt so bad. The bed was extremely uncomfortable that we actually left to drive home in the early hours of the morning. The shower temperature was cold. The owner or manager was extremely unfriendly when trying to get information about check in and when we arrived at the gate.

The property is located in a beautiful and serene location, the staff was super helpful, they allowed us to have a late checkout which was amazing. The rooms are very clean.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the spring mattress just added on to the discomfort as it was wobbly. The nights are cold and there are no extra blankets so I suggest you take an extra blanket when you go.
