Rooms and bathrooms are bad.All rooms are in the first floor with bad moisture and bad smell .We can not slerp well

Enormous villa, much space

Automatic check-in and check-out, so can come any time and don’t need to bother anyone to let you in. Huge property in very good location with amazing view. Has an amazing instagram zones to enjoy and take pictures.

no roof for bike parking. NO HOT WATER! Property is huge but rooms are small and humid. Access to one of 3 rooms goes from other rooms, so no privacy.

The location was 100% perfect and the size of the villa wonderful. I can recommend strawberry stop restaurant, which is literally next door. It is very quiet and serene. The wifi is great. Value wise it would be good for a larger group.

The place was not sufficiently clean, with floors not mopped. We needed to buy a new cleaning scrub for the kitchen, as well as clean the dishes as the cupboards smelled of mould. The soap provided was watered down, so we ended up purchasing soap. The bathrooms were old and very small. Towels are not provided which is inconvenient if you are not a local tourist.

Lovely designed mansion; Quiet area; Convenient location

I was unpleasantly surprised by the owner's message a day before our check-in that they don't supply towels and we have to bring our own. The notice period was too short to be able to act accordingly. The road leading to the house was extremely narrow and unpaved. Expect a good 200 meters of off-roading. The bathroom sinks were actually inside the bedrooms, which is common for Bali, but the disappointment appears from the fact that they were very small (impossible to brush your teeth in it) and for some strange reason the sinks were plastic which did not match the fine interior design of the villa. The biggest disadvantage apparently was the extreme smell of mould in the bedrooms, and surprisingly, in this open-plan kitchen. The smell in the kitchen was actually worse. It was impossible to use any mugs, cups, or plates from the cupboard because they were drenched with mould smell. It was really, really bad. The mould stains were all over the kitchen walls as well. Yes, the satins were cleaned, but they were obvious. We did not like the fact that the house (especially the fire pit) was under constant surveillance. Yes, there was a note left to inform us about it, but anyway. We felt like in Big Brother show all the time. The owner sent us the house rules via message, and on top of that, there were a couple of notes in the villa constantly reminding us not to move any furniture around (especially around the fire pit). Looking after the property is great, but this surveillance and persistent reminding notes were a bit too much. We understood the rules from the first message. We felt uncomfortable in the villa for all the above-mentioned reasons and left the property a day earlier than planned and paid for. I have messaged the owner that we are leaving earlier due to the change in our plans. We have never been asked if anything is wrong, and neither refund has been offered.

Located near Lake Beratan, our stay was for a quick rest before going back home to Java. For people who wants to check-in, take the second alley and not the first one. The owner gave us keycode to the gate, how to, and everything we need to know about the villa, so it was a self check-in. The moment we enter the gate, my son in law (a China citizen) was impressed by the size of the whole place. By the time we settled, we just felt like home. The rooms were nice and clean, and all rooms are connected. Bathroom in every room, plus a family room at the front side. A big open plan kitchen with some kitchenwares (bring your own knives for serious cooking), rice cooker, an electric stove, water dispenser (hot and cold water available), fridge, and lots of space to sit and hang out. We spent most of our time here, actually. Just beside the kitchen was an open space for a bonfire (too bad we didn't have enough time to light it). On the second floor you can watch TV or enjoy the serenity inside a unique open room decorated with plants. And on the third floor (rooftop), you can enjoy the beautiful surrounding and see the lake. You can find minimarkets just outside the alley, and traditional market is not too far (a few minutes driving) if you need fresh veggies and fruits. No towels were supplied, so you have to bring your own. Too bad we only stayed for a night, and didn't have much time to really explore the place and surrounding area since it was getting dark and cold outside. The owners were friendly, helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay here, and actually felt like one night was too short. I will definitely bring my family back here for a longer stay.

The bathrooms were a little bit too small, so it was quite difficult to put your dry clothes and not getting a little bit damp from the shower. But this was a minor problem compared to all other facilities available.
