Black Bull with Rooms lower

My partner and I are regulars at the black bull, it’s our number one hotel to stay at in Cumbernauld. We’ve always had a great experience everytime we have stayed and we find it very cosy and comfortable.

On arrival we received a message to say that the room we originally had (room 7) was not available anymore due to an incident, therefore we were moved to upstairs. The text told us we had been moved to room 5 and we were to enter our new pin to receive the key. When we put in the code, there was no key in the box. My partner and I phoned the black bull number multiple times and we got no response. We were standing outside in the rain with our food waiting for a response from the team. We then decided to go into the restaurant to speak to a member of staff. They gave us the key to room number 5 and then another text message came through saying they had told us to go to the wrong room, and that we were supposed to be staying in room 4, not 5. So we had to go back in and swap the keys over again. Apart from this, our stay was enjoyable. The only thing I could say that was a little disappointing was how cold our room was upstairs. We usually book the rooms downstairs and they are nice and cosy, but we were rather chilly at night in room 4.

Perfect location for are stay just unfortunate we had a ground floor next to the door and some not so pleasant ppl stay in the room across but apart from that it was great
