The Waterfront Guest House

Belinda welcomed us and showed us around the lovely property. Everything was clean and well labelled, easy to find for a self catering stay. The house is very well provisioned in way of crockery and cutlery with plenty of appliances to make the stay even easier. Waterfront Guesthouse is situated in the Port Owen Marina and overlooks the boats and moorings at the end of a waterway leg. There is easy front access to the pathway which we used to watch the birds in the morning and afternoon. You can easily walk down to the river leading to the sea. Waterfront Guesthouse is very well located and you can walk to shops, restaurants, cafes. Take a walk or simply relax with breathtaking views. Velddrif and surrounds are all easily accessible by car and we were given great recommendations by the owner which made our stay even better.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The service from Belinda was outstanding—she was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house itself is beautiful, with stunning views that you can enjoy at any time of day. Everything was spotless, and the level of cleanliness was truly impressive. The home has everything you could possibly need, and the attention to detail is noticeable everywhere you look. From thoughtful small gestures to well-stocked amenities, it’s clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel comfortable and welcome. Not many accommodations allow pets however the waterfront carwrs for the entire family! The furry ones too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommended!

Reception and welcoming by hosts, Belinda and Phillip was great 👍 * House Tour: they took us through the whole house. * Cleanliness: The house was spotless, bedrooms linen clean * Everything about the house that is listed on Booking.com, is true and even exceeded my expectations. * Kitchen: built-in cupboards, kitchen utensils and equipment, 2 Air fryers, gas stove, 4 fridges. * Bar area, Gym room, lounge area with Smart TV, dining room with large table for 8 people , entertainment and gas Braai room, Jacuzzis and showers in each bedroom, bedroom upstairs has a patio area with dinning table, waterfront views on the doorstep 👌 * Bedrooms: very comfortable beds, spacious and clean with 2 sofas, built-in wardrobes, aircondtioners and TVs, bed linen very neat and tidy 👌 *. Location area: Private and quiet We loved everything about this accommodation and will gladly share our experiences with our families and friends 😁 Will definitely come back 😄

We loved everything! The value, the rooms, the view, and it was exceedingly well equipped. The property manager was really friendly, and super accomodating. And pets are allowed. It really felt like home.
