Spacious and clean room, nice breakfast, beautiful room.

We loved the cleanliness of the room and the location. The room was very spacious (we had a twin bed room but each bed was massive so we only needed one as a couple). We alsohad a large balcony with a table that was very nice ! The hotel is very close to the main road where you have lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and 7-11s (5-10min walk depending what you choose). Also a walk to the most famous temple Wat Phra Singh is 30min. The staff was friendly, smiley and helped immediately with a couple of request we had. We felt good overall but must mention like others did that if you are a light sleeper the planes' noise will bother you 100%.

The thing I didn't like (my partner didn't mind so much) was the breakfast. It caters primarily to local people's taste (I for one don't eat chicken liver for breakfast). So my options were quite limited (eggs, veg, fruits, toast and some small sweet bites). The selection is massive but oriented for locals

It is comfortable and no frills kind of a place. Nicely decorated although dated. Breakfast is mainly thai food with little western selection. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Location is good with many eateries and 20min walk to Maya mall. Staffs are friendly.

No bike rental as advertised. I was very disappointed because I dont like to walk. They can arrange bike rental for you from a shop but that is not the same because you have to return the bike to the shop instead of parking in the hotel everyday! No tea bags in the room, only instant coffee. Walls are thin and it can be noisy.

All staff were wonderful and eager to please. Special attention given to providing an individual dish for breakfast to suit dietary needs much appreciated. Towels and sheets replaced daily, which wasn't necessary but also appreciated. Quirky decor. Very clean and tidy.

Very strong drain odour at times. One small towel rail outside the shower cubicle - there was another inside the cubicle but not very useable if you want your towels to dry! Very loud plane noises until late. Good variety of Thai food for buffet breakfast but not kept warm, just hot food kept in cool metal dishes. Limited and unvaried but tasty western choices for breakfast.
