Kitchen has what we need though the fridge was very small

I'm shocked by the 9.1 rating. The absolute biggest red flag here is the overpowering, toxic renovation odor that no one else seems to mention. It caused me to blow my nose constantly, ruined my sleep, and left me with a morning headache. We literally threw away money by abandoning our second night just to sleep somewhere breathable. The bed offers very little support (a nightmare if you have back issues, and I’m usually fine with basic budget hotels), and the curtains fail to block any sunlight. The price is affordable for the Keys, but please beware if you value your sleep and respiratory health. BTW: they ask you to sweep the door and clean the table top before check out. And we followed it. Just wish I knew that before booking

We rented a two-bedroom cottage, and it was spotlessly clean. Everything was new, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary cookware and utensils. Towels, shampoo, and other essentials were provided. There is also a barbecue area next to the cottage. The location is about a 35-minute drive from Key West. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent!

Charming cottage fashioned as sand and sea. Location is excellent for northern and southern keys. Elizabeth was a joyful help for recommendations and great stories. Rain prevented us from using the fabulous tiki walkway, hammocks, pool and complementary kayaks. It was a memorable stay, and we will return!

The amenities weren't there. Bar never open. Events didn't happen. The kayaks were in bad shape. Pool was nice

Die Lage direkt am Wasser. Hier konnten man die Tierwelt super beobachten. Auch die Unterhaltungen mit Elizabeth waren ganz toll. Sie ist das Herz des Hauses. Man ist in circa 25 min in key West.

Es gab kein Geschirr. 1-2 Teller und etwas Besteck und Gläser wären für einen längeren Aufenthalt super!

Dog friendly was important for us. Location, we wanted to be a little off the grid but close enough to enjoy the night life in Key West. Cottages were cute & clean, the property was clean & mostly peaceful. I felt the rates were reasonable. We enjoyed watching the iguanas who would sun near our porch. Adam (I think was his name) & others who were out checking on cottages, trash etc. were very nice folks. I would recommend that people do give this place a try. I also hope owners/management takes all of the feedback into consideration as I put a lot of time into planning this trip and I'm just giving my honest feedback of our experience & I too would like to return!

Extremely bright, sun from high windows blares you in the eyes early & lots of light comes through at night too- those windows really need some "peel & stick" shade at the very least. I noticed this comment was in many other reviews as well, hopefully they'll consider a solution to this. The dog park was basically right up on top of someones RV which didn't really make me want to hang out there with my dog, also was very hot out & doggy water wasn't working. No floating dock. Biggest disappointment for me was that even though we checked daily, we only ever saw the tiki bar open once (on our way out one evening) during our 4 night/5day stay. We were celebrating our anniversary & I looked at specific amenities when I booked it. I wanted to spend some time sunning at the pool & having drinks at the tiki bar. Never got to do this once. Why wouldn't this be open on Friday afternoon?? Or ever during the day? Had zero idea of hours of tiki bar or menu as this wasn't posted & it never seemed to be open. Why list these things online if you don't offer them regularly? Should clearly state "very limited hours" because this almost ruined the entire stay for me. This was something my husband & I looked forward to enjoying, instead we only even got in the pool once for 5 minutes. Had it not been for the things I listed in the "what did you like" section, my rating would've been lower. Please consider this. I'd love to return in the future but I will call & inquire about these things before booking again, when I spend time & money booking a trip, the amenities listed by the property should be available to me, it wasn't a nice surprise. So I'm listing that the property did "meet my expectations overall" however, It did not in this specific area.
