Apartments Old Town Gloria

The apartment, while small, is comfortable and had everything we needed, including a washing machine (except there is no coffee machine, which we found unusual in Europe). It's close to shops and cafes, and the main square is a few minutes' walk away.

There was obvious red mould in the corner of the shower, which was surprising as the rest of the apartment was very clean.

Location was excellent. Comfortable and homely.

The location was great and easy walk to some wonderful historic sites.

The studio apartment is in the basement. Eye level windows to a courtyard with very minimal privacy curtains. The biggest issue was the smell and damp environment. They had numerous scented dehumidifier desiccant holders, which combined with a damp dusky smell permeated all clothes in my suitcase. Peeling paint and no amenities, not even salt topped things off. The rest of the property looked nice, but the studio is a pass for me and was not how I wanted to spend the last two nights of a 3 week trip.

The renovation is modern and the kitchen is large.

There is severe sewage and toilet smells across the bath room and the bedroom. I tried to close the bathroom, but it doesn’t help. I can see the host placed many air fresheners in the room, but the smell is too strong and persistent.

The location is good. It is close to the center and square. It was big enough for three people. We stayed there for nearly a week.

The apartment was clean when we arrived there, but the balcony was not clean. The weather was fine, we wanted to use the balcony as well. They cleaned the balcony when we warned about the situation. The rooms need cleaning if you stay more than five days because there is dust everywhere.
