"Bright, spacious house in nature with a large pool - peaceful and luxurious stay countryside stay"

9.0

We spent six nights at this house and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and full of natural light, with large windows that make you feel connected to the outdoors. The house is actually made up of two large, self-contained lofts — each with its own bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a generous living and dining area downstairs. There’s also an additional WC located between the two lofts. In total, the property has 3 bathrooms and 1 WC. The house is in a quiet, rural area, and even when you're inside, you constantly feel close to nature. Very large windows let in lots of sunlight, you can hear cicadas and birds, and sometimes you’ll spot a small insect - gentle reminders that you’re in the countryside. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm. The outdoor space is lovely, with lots of greenery and several cozy corners for relaxation. The private pool is impressively large and fairly deep (around 1.30m), which we really enjoyed. The location is secluded, but with a car you have easy access to shops, cafes, and restaurants in nearby villages. The surrounding area is mostly fields, but the property itself has trees and greenery, and offers a distant sea view to the east. There was a stunning view at sunrise. The moonlight over the pool was also a highlight. The house is very well equipped, with a wide range of kitchenware and dishes, plenty of towels, and both a dishwasher and a washing machine. The kitchen also includes cooking equipment such as an oven, electric hobs, and a kettle, which made preparing meals easy and convenient. There are also mosquito nets on all windows, which we really appreciated, as they allowed us to enjoy the fresh air without worrying about insects. Paris, the host, was very polite, helpful, and available when needed. He made a great impression. All in all, we had a great stay. The house is beautiful, full of light and space, and the price is very fair for what it offers.

A few things could be improved. The house wasn’t as clean as we expected upon arrival. It was generally tidy, but there was visible dust, some spider webs in the corners, and a few dead insects here and there. The floor didn’t feel very clean either, and the jacuzzi tub could have used more attention. Given that check-in was later in the day and our stay was going to be fairly long (6 nights), we expected a more thorough cleaning. The jacuzzi tub also seemed to have a leak, so we didn’t use it, although the space itself was beautifully decorated. Some details inside the house feel slightly neglected, such as a few door handles being loose, and there were some marks and old spots on the tiles and furniture. Nothing too serious, but worth mentioning as minor things that, if fixed, would help the house better reflect its otherwise luxurious design. A minor concern: one of the interior glass doors leading to the pool area didn’t close completely, which could theoretically be opened from the outside. However, the main entrance to the property was gated and secured with an electronic system, so we still felt safe overall. Keep in mind that not all windows have blinds, and most of the existing shades are white and let in a lot of light. The space gets flooded with sunlight early in the morning, so if you're a light sleeper, a sleep mask might help. Also, the front loft (which gets more sun) became quite warm during the day. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well, but the living area would benefit from stronger cooling or an extra fan. Lastly, families with young children should be aware that the internal loft balconies have very low edges and no railings, the stairs are a bit steep in design, and the pool is deep — so constant supervision is definitely needed.

"A joyful inspiring experience."

10.0

House has everything one would need. And more. Artistic design is on top. Sea view is also a bonus feature. Definitely one of a kind. The semi-infinity pool is gorgeous as is the garden area. Interior is tastefully decorated by, I believe, a winning interior designer.

As in other places in Greece, internet stability is a hurdle. But there is a lot to compensate from and make your stay unique.
