Casa Ananda Boutique Hotel

The property was in a great location, with excellent staff and very stylish decor. The accessibility to the pool was a huge plus for us. The breakfast had lots of choice and the staff were very attentive to our needs. The WiFi worked very well and the water pressure in the showers was excellent which is hard to come by in Zanzibar!

Not that we didn’t like it but it might be useful to know that the property doesn’t sell any alcohol. They were fine with us going to buy alcohol and then bringing it back to the hotel.

We loved everything about our stay at Ananda Boutique Hotel. It was my dream accommodation from the service at reception to the service by everyone on the premises. It was spectacular!! We were upgraded to an ocean view room which made our stay even more memorable. The beach is a stone throw away which made it convenient to access other restaurants & activities such as Shanga (which is next door). The room was beautifully decorated & cleaned every single day with sufficient hot water. The room was also air-conditioned. We stayed at Nungwi before we arrived at Paje (Ananda Hotel) and we both admitted that because of our stay here Paje was the best place for us in Zanzibar. We were treated to delicious breakfast every day. Our flight was at night & they allowed us to stay the whole day in our room until our driver came to fetch us & this truly speaks to the hospitality we were given throughout our stay. The hotel looks like something from a movie, absolutely breathtaking!! Thank you Ananda team for the exceptional hospitality!! We will definitely be recommending it to others & will be coming back xoxo

The WiFi was a bit slow in our ocean view room but because we were out lost of the day. It didn’t bother us.
