Praia Del Rei Pool

Very clean, well equipped and spacious apartment. Great beach nearby, we liked it much more than famous Baleal - much less crowded, very picturesque, lifeguarded (no beach restaurants in close proximity though). Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Very convenient for golf players (possible to rent equipment).

We liked the location, though it might feel quite isolated, ie the nearest supermarket (Pingo Doce) is in Peniche or Obidos (ca 20 minutes drive). Same for good restaurants (you have to drive). On the other hand, you are away from crowds.

Très bien situé. Accueil chaleureux. Lits confortables. Salles de bains propres. Spacieux.

Odeur de renfermé dans les armoires et des chambres. Nombreuses mouches. Chien dans l'immeuble qui aboyait.

Virkelig lækker lejlighed lige ud til en STOR pool. Perfekt beliggenhed.

The apartment is big, bright, and comfy, with a very nice view of the pool and trees. The host is nice and helpful. There is a great lounge zone with a fireplace. Three spacious and comfortable bedrooms. A fully equipped kitchen.

The main problem was the heating. It runs on a schedule, working 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours at night, which is absolutely not enough in winter when the temperature outside is 7 degrees late at night. The house was super cold. The door to the shared bathroom can’t be locked, so we had to place something outside it to indicate that someone was inside. For key collection, a locker near the door is available for check-in at any time, but for some reason, it was not used.
