Guest House Jacarandá Faro

Good location & friendly & welcoming staff.

My room had no window but a velux & smelt a bit stale.

Lovely property, good location, friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed,

Just a minor thing, we were awoken a bit early by a noisy fan in the bathroom

Lawaai: dakvenster liet veel lawaai door van naburig plein (vrijdagavond) en 4 lawaaierige Engelse dames die veel kabaal in de gezamenlijke keuken maakten midden in de nacht

The location was excellent for exploring the old town. We were greeted warmly and were given lots of helpful advice. For an overnight stay and a very early start, Jacarandá was first class. The sitting area outside the room was very welcome as would have been the lovely and well- equipped kitchen had we had time to make use of it!

The loo seat was broken, or not properly fixed and it didn’t seem worth getting in touch with Maria because of the short nature of our stay. Also, the shower leaked over the bathroom floor, despite our best efforts to keep it inside.

A really nice guest house with spacious rooms and a common kitchen which allowed for keeping a few items in the fridge and providing coffee and other hot drinks. Great area close to the old town and the marina with plenty of good restaurants close by.

We only saw any reception staff on one occasion during our two day stay. Not a real problem, but there was no-one to ask any questions about the locality or any of the details of the accommodation's facilities.
