Cosy modern miners cottage

I loved the cosiness of the property, very nicely decorated/renovated throughout. It had all the appliances etc. I needed and was great for self catering. The perfect place to come back to after a day out hiking. Also lovely to walk out of the front door and a glance to the left getting a great view of the mountains. The location was perfect for everything I had planned over my 2 day stay. The property was clean, I really couldn't fault the stay. I would definately stay again.

Parking- you can not park outside of the property but there was plenty of opportunity to park up the street a short walk from the property on another road. One to be mindful of I didn't dislike it massively just mean't a couple of runs to the car to unload. Still a great stay!

Well maintained, great ‘snug’ homely feel. Excellent use of space, has everything you need for a couple of days 😊

Observation only: this didn’t affect our stay but I would say for more than 3 days a washer/dryer would be very useful.

Parking is a massive issue. It was stated as parking possible, which means parking possible somewhere else with a long walk with lots of bags. The beds are too small, so for the first time in my married life, we had to use both rooms to fit in. I wholly appreciate space is of a premium, it needs to be clearer before how small and inaccessible the place truly is.

The cottage was convenient for our trip to Velocity. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Although small it was beautifully updated. Tea, instant coffee and sugar were provided. All messages were responded to quickly and courteously. All information provided was very helpful.

We found parking quite difficult although Jack did send a map with options and the cottage description did state there was no parking at the cottage. Just a small thing, but something like a cafetière would have been good to make fresh coffee.

Very clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and very clean bathroom. Good use of space for a small place it felt larger

Such a cool cottage. Beautifully renovated with thoughtful design and fittings. We were so comfortable here and loved our stay.

Very tight parking options but adjusted to this easily.
