We stayed at Marcon Stone House for a week during September. Marcon Stone House is located in a premium location with good proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and beaches. It is also located on a hill, with breathtaking views and a lovely outdoors area. However, there were serious issues with the state of the property and also the service we received.

First, while the property owners and managers were notified the day before that we would be arriving one hour early, the property was not ready on our arrival due to a late check-out from the previous tenants, but was made ready at 5pm, i.e., two hours after the default check-in time (3pm). Not only that, but the property managers and owners did not bother expressing any apology for this inconvenience. Second, the property comprises 3 bedrooms, which all appeared larger on the pictures than their actual size. Two of the bedrooms do not have a cupboard, making it inconvenient for those who stayed there. Third, there was an issue with the sewage of the property's bathroom, which created an awful odor if the toilet was used. Fourth, the seat of the toilet of the utility room was broken. It took the property managers 5 days to fix it after we reported it. To be fair, they did try to fix the following day of our report, but only to realize there was a need for a replacement. In the following days, there was not any communication from them, until they tried to replace the seat without notifying us. Their messages were quite rude, as they were complaining that the door should have been unlocked given that we requested the toilet seat to be fixed. Not only they failed to communicate with us properly, but they also tried to blame us for causing them inconvenience. We would love to return to Lefkada. For sure, very slim chance to return to Marcon Stone House unfortunately.
