USGreat location close to a grocery store, coastal promenade, and bus stops. Very walkable and about a thirty minute walk to get to the Old Town. There were adequate items in the kitchen for meal prep.
The noise from the street below was very loud. It was especially bad when the windows were open. The decor was dated, sort of glam rock.

Not a dislike but just a bit of information. If you want peace and quiet, please note that since it is near the mall and on a main road, the road noises when the windows are open during the day is bothersome, but it is a very nice and central location.

NLLigging, grootte appartement, alles op loopafstand en ov aan de straat. Bus in Funchal is 2 euro. Goede bedden en sanitair. Mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamers. Vriendelijke host. Wij vonden Madeira een droom. Funchal een prachtige stad, fijner om te verblijven dan de all in hotel plaatsen. Bij een volgend verblijf kiezen we graag weer forum view appartement
geen voorraad spulletjes is jammer, fles water bijvoorbeeld is fijn om aan te treffen na een lange reis.
