BEWARE – This is NOT the real Consulate hotel! This place is a complete scam. The real and reputable hotel is Hotel Consulate, located directly opposite the Consulate. Many people — including me — get misled by this fake copycat named “D Consulate.” Do not fall for it. My friends and family stayed at Hotel Consulate and had a great experience. Unfortunately, I ended up booking this fake “D Consulate,” and it was a total disaster. For the price they charge, this place is absolutely not worth it. 👉 If you’re visiting for consulate work, avoid this hotel at all costs. You will regret staying here. Choose Hotel Consulate instead — it’s the real one. Not recommended for anyone.

Filthy & Unhygienic: Rooms were dusty, full of cockroaches, and had zero natural light because the building is crammed between other structures. • Rude & Unhelpful Staff: Even for a simple cup of tea or milk in the morning, they’d make us wait endlessly and argue instead of serving. Free breakfast is worst quality • Internet Lies: The Wi-Fi was down, and the staff claimed the entire area had no internet — but my friend staying in the neighboring hotel had full connectivity. They were clearly lying and careless. • No Mobile Signal: Virtually no network coverage inside the hotel — a nightmare for anyone needing to stay connected, especially for consulate appointments. • Management Doesn’t Care: When I complained, the manager showed zero responsibility or concern.
