Salema Beach Private Villa

The communication with the host was smooth and easy.

We stayed for one night when walking the fishermen’s trail. I don’t mind the old and damaged furnishing but what I do mind is the weird smell all around the house and dirty towels.

Quiet place with a nice private garden and a well equipped kitchen

There was no wifi or breakfast. However, the room was nestled off in a quaint little foyer which gave a private feel.

The handing over of the keys was a little quick but we had no questions. The opportunity for a cozier bed, and more ventilation as the room was quite damp, all things that can easily be adjusted.

It was small and cosy

It was pretty cold and there was no heater and insufficient blankets, no radio or tv. The hot water and fridge must have tripped out and had no idea where the fuse box was. Although it was on the cheaper side of accommodation in Salema I wouldn’t stay here again

They’re clear there’s no wifi but it’s something they need to provide.

Sweet little cottage right on the Fisherman’s Trail. Convenient to beaches and restaurants. The courtyard was very private and lovely

Kitchen is outdated. Kettle/toaster old and need to be replaced.

no air movement, could only open 1 small window in the kitchen, no window in bedroom, broken end table lamp, broken toilet seat, lights above mirror in bathroom don't work, dogs barking constantly, tried to use hair dryer but blew a fuse so the electricity went off, tried to email owners...no response, toilet seat was broken, flushing mechanism in toilet was disconnected, shower stall curtains were too long so they plugged up the drain and easy to step on, only 1 small roll of toilet paper, no supplies whatsoever, property details listed as "beachfront"...not on the beach and had a very difficult time finding it, light switch in bathroom not connected to wall with wires exposed. Since electricity went out and owners did not respond, left the property and spent the night in a hotel.
