VERONIKA Resort Nosy Komba

We travelled with our kids, age 11 and 9. The staff were very accommodating, kind and professional. The swimming pool was a game-changer as we relaxed and swam on the days that the kids didnt want to go on an outing. The chef prepared delicious meals and accommodated the kids requests as well. When going on outings we had, Romeric, one of the staff with us. He made sure everything went smoothly👍🏻 Wrisla, the lodge manager, was such a big help and assisted us in arriving a day ealier due to previous accommodation not being up to standard. What a pleasure it was to arrive at Veronika! The lovely Lori greeted us with the biggest smile every day in the restaurant area.

All staff is kind and helpful and the situation is amazing.It was memorable experience for us.The room has a balcony and nice view.Also we really enjoyed each meal, especially seafood menu was wonderful. Thanks for all about staying VERONIKA Resort!

Excellent Food - just be specific on how you like it. The location is beautiful. Sunsets to die for. Perfect place to relax and recharge. The water is warm and clear. Adrian and staff are super friendly. Arrived as guests and left as friends. The resident Lemurs - Lori and Dori stole our hearts :)

Nothing major or serious that we didnt like. Only small things like better pillows perhaps and comfier furniture on the verandah - but that is speaking from someone with a back issue that's all.

Everything was just super-perfect. This is the right hideaway for couples to unwind, relax and enjoy the quiet island life and beauty of the coastline, above and underwater! ... and all this while still being able to connect to the outside world (great wifi ;-) ). Rooms are wonderfull, views are great (sunsets), there is a housereef in front, turtles around. Food is great and the chef is always ready to tend to your suggestions. Caipirinhas in the pool, overlooking the sea... The diveshop is well equipped and the dive guides are super-friendly and professional.

The sunsets are amazing. It's perfect for a quiet, relaxing retreat. Beautiful location. The staff are very professional, and everything was smoothly organised. Eva was a superstar, she has great English, as did Romanes. The owner is welcoming and friendly, clearly very organised, and experienced in hospitality. Lots of excursion options, and you are reminded of them daily. Beautifully finished accommodations with local touches. Absoutely spotlessly clean - the cleaners are friendly with such beautiful smiles. Diving was good fun with plenty to see, and we were very well cared for and felt very comfortable (we have dived before but not often and are not experts). Also, equipment was in really good shape. The lemurs always come to say hi. Quiet. Serene. Wonderful getaway.

Cash only payments. Of 12 hotels in Madagascar, 3 of them only took cash payment, and this was one of them. We budgeted based on our previous 3 weeks in Madagascar, but the tours/ diving were more than we had anticipated. So, we really had to keep an eye on our spending. You could pay to go to Nosy Be for an ATM but we went to 7 ATM's in the capital city before they paid out and needed 2 more to get the amount we needed, so we did not want to risk paying for a trip to Nosy Be and not being able to get the money we needed. Recommend getting excursion/ diving details so that you can budget accordingly and must be comfortable carrying large amounts of cash. Beds in Madagascar are firm, so if you are bony or have hips, bring some extra layers for padding ;)

Beautiful extended weekend behind us at VERONIKA resort. Highly recommended. Lovely cozy rooms, great food, trips organization was perfect, and for the first time, I saw whales with my own eyes. We have had a beautiful extended weekend. I rate the VERONIKA Resort very, very positively. Truly beautiful, newly built resort, in gorgeous nature. The staff is very kind and friendly. The cuisine is excellent, number one. There's a beautiful coral garden right in front of the resort. The trips and overall organization are very good. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely return next year. Dorisy

Beautiful bungalows in a paradise garden built with respect for the surrounding nature. We couldn't stop taking pictures! Adrian and his team are great. We had a wonderful time listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying great food. We watched breathtaking sunsets from the pool with a drink or we went snorkeling on the coral, which is a few meters from the resort. They offer great tours. We went snorkeling with turtles (they really swim next to you :)), went to see lemurs in Lemuria Land, we saw how people live in a local village... Everything was perfectly organized. Veronika resort has its own dive center. We went diving for the first time, which was an incredible experience for us and our children. This place is simply magical, in contact with beautiful nature, surrounded by friendly staff. We will definitely come back!
