Sea View Hostel Hiriketiya

I had a very nice stay at the accommodation. The location is perfect, as it is situated between Dickwella and Hiriketiya Beach. So you can reach both within a few minutes on foot. The room is very new and modernly furnished. The bed is super comfortable. There are even proper duvets. Along with the air conditioning, these were the best conditions for a good sleep. I was able to relax very well at the accommodation. There were also towels (for showering and for the beach). The staff was so friendly and helpful. Right by the sea was the associated restaurant, where it was possible to have breakfast. The breakfast was super delicious. In the evenings, there was sometimes live music or a DJ. I felt so comfortable there that I extended my stay for one more night. In the end, they even allowed me a late checkout in the afternoon, so I could spend my last day at the beach.

For a hostel, it's a bit expensive, that’s why i gave the 9 out of 10. Still, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to treat themselves. It's worth it!

Das Personal war super zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auf Anfrage hat man sogar ein Strandhandtuch bekommen. Die Lage ist super und das Hostelzimmer sehr schön. Jedoch waren wir auch nur zu 3 in dem 8er Zimmer, was es natürlich komfortabel macht.

Der Preis ist für ein Hostel etwas zu hoch und es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsraum oder sonstiges.

Ich wurde in diesem Hostel beklaut! Ich hatte 200€ im Schließfach im Zimmer und es wurde von einem Mitarbeiter entwendet. Ich war alleine im Hostel da gerade keine high season ist. Hatte sowohl die Zimmertür als auch das Schließfach immer geschlossen. Dennoch hat ein Mitarbeiter mich beklaut! Nicht zu empfehlen das Hostel!

I loved the spacious rooms, beautiful view, comfortable beds and nice facilities.

I didn’t have a curtain and I don’t think the sink should be in the room because people make noise using it in the morning. Also the garden was so beautiful, but a little bit ruined because there was a smell of drains all the time :(

Rooms are nice but not regularly cleaned. They didn’t clean it while I was there. Good location. Nice restaurant with nice views. Comfortable beds
