Desert Moments Camp

Very nice view due to location on the top of the dunes. Excellent food (one of the best we had during 4 weeks trip in Oman). Very nice staff. Spacious and comfortable tent.

Shared bathroom. Loud music in the evening, being pushed to dance, which made it impossible to have a conversation with others during the entire time after dinner.

My friend and I stayed at this camp for one night. When we were about to reach the site, our car got stuck in the sand. Salah, the owner, patiently got us out of sand. While we were enjoying the sunset, they prepared a delicious meal with authentic BBQ skewers that were one of the best I had in Oman. Salah was clear on facilities the camp offers and we had a peaceful stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for an exceptional experience: fewer tents on the site, a bit farther away from other camps, and a great view from the top of the dunes.

Great dessert camp for a unique experience. Fantastic and confortable beds. View over the dessert is great due to elevated position on top of the dunes. Salah, the Host is very organised and cares for his guests a lot. Food options were great - also for vergitarians.

Der Manager Salah Al Zadjali verhielt sich bei Unstimmigkeit mit Gast sehr unprofesionell, wurde am Telefon sehr unhöflich, laut und legte einfach auf. Uns ist solch ein rabiater Umgangston sehr befremdlich und hat einen bitteren Nachgeschmack. Ebenfalls das aggresive rufen übers Camp nach seinem Angestellten Ahmed, der unvermittelt angerannt kam hat uns erstaunt und gezeigt wie stark das Hirachie denken gelebt wird in diesem Camp. Die Einheimische Musik war uns viel zu lang beim warten aufs Nachtessen..

Everything about this stay was great - the host, the staff, the accommodation, the food, and the camp. Salah is a supercool host who really takes care of guests, spends time with them, and makes everyone feel comfortable. You can truly relax being there. The camp is located deeper in the desert than the others, and thanks to it, complete silence and calm are guaranteed. Tents and beds are very cozy. The food was delicious, authentic and plentiful. The staff was very kind and friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Salah, for hosting us! And greetings to the lovely Austrian couple we met!

Beautiful location on top of the dune.

Bellissima struttura in cima alle dune da cui si gode di una vista privilegiata sul deserto. Salah con il suo staff ci hanno accolti con simpatia e professionalità, la cena consumata la sera è stata la migliore della vacanza! Consigliato anche il giro con i cammelli al tramonto Le tende sono confortevoli e curate con uno spazio esterno perfetto per rilassarsi Grazie ancora a Salah per aver reso speciale il nostro soggiorno!

Amazing experience! Small seacluded camp, right on top of a dune, great view allround ! 6 spacious tents, with confortable beds and relaxing veranda outside. 4 shared toilets, fully equipped, with open roof for sky view... No generator, only petrol lamps, creating unique atmosphere after sunset (incredible night sky) Salah is a fantastic host, gave us precious tips to drive our 4x4 in the desert, arranged a camel ride at sunset time, told us a lot of legends about Oman traditions. Ahmet cooked for us great buffet and barbecue skewers, while a group was playing local music. Unforgettable dinner. Next day, Salah arranged for us a local guide to help us crossing the desert with our 4x4, to reach Beach Moments Camp near Adyuh, managed by Salah's brother. Have look, highly recommended as well! We had 2 more fantastic relaxing days on a wonderful white beach. Grazie di tutto Salah!

It is not easy to say what was the best..because everything was gorgeous! If some camp than definitely this one!!!
