YIAYIA's Central Apartment

Fabulous setting just outside the centre. Nice size with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We had a lovely stay here with all restaurants and Cafes etc within striking distance

No Air-conditioning in the second Bedroom, made it a little uncomfortable for my Daughter

The location of the property was excellent, being just a short walk away from the ferry port. The property was very clean and tidy with a large kitchen and two very comfortable rooms - the flat house had a balcony that overlooked the square which was a gorgeous spot to soak up the sun and eat our meals. The host was very friendly and on hand to help and answer if necessary. We loved the beautiful island of Symi and this was the perfect base to explore. Would recommend to all!

When we visited (first week of May) the taxi boats were not running yet. Not the fault of the property at all but something to bear in mind if you want to visit at that time as the buses are more limited- though still decent.

A lovely apartment absolutely in the centre of charming Gialos. Here you find absolutely everything you might need for a holiday in the Island of Symi. 2 bedrooms with very comfortable beds (you have to climb 10 steps to reach them), a modern kitchen, 1 balcony and 1 terrace, bathroom with a washing machine - a great space, run by the fantastic Niko, who let us stay one night extra for free, when our ferry was cancelled due to strong winds.

A wonderfully spacious and charming apartment right in the heart of Gialos! Yiayia’s Apartment combines traditional Symi character with modern comfort. Just steps away from the port, shops, and tavernas, yet peaceful and private. The generous space, tasteful decor, and warm hospitality made it an unforgettable stay. I felt instantly at home — I’ll definitely be back!

The second room had just only a fan not an a/c. But for us that wasn’t a problem.

The apartment is well organized and has most of the things you need including washing machine. It is located in the center, walking distance to boats, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Host is also helpful and came to pick us up from the port. I highly recommend the place.
