Vigias -Eternal Landscapes

Tudo! ❤️ O ambiente circundante de tranquilidade, com direito a passeios pela herdade e momentos de relaxamento nas espreguiçadeiras junto ao tanque de água. A receção calorosa e orientações preciosas do sr. Francisco. A casa, com muita atenção aos detalhes - com todas as comodidades como frigorífico, forno, placa, micro-ondas, máquina de lavar louça (tudo touch, muito prático e intuitivo), máquina de café Nespresso, torradeira, variados utensílios de cozinha… Os miminhos (fruta, pão, bolos, leite, compota, ovos, cápsulas de café, chá…). A excelente qualidade de certos produtos como o gel de banho, shampoo e sabonete líquido. Enfim, estava tudo muito bem organizado e limpo.

The hosts were very helpful, especially regarding check in and check out times. The bread and cakes they gifted us were very good. The house is so peaceful and we loved the mood/decoration. The pool and the view were beautiful.

Some lights inside the kitchen / living rooms space always flickered and dimmed without warning, then came back up. So maybe the bulbs need to be changed.

La casa era acogedora, funcional, con unas vistas increíbles, un lugar que se respira paz y tranquilidad.

For a small country side house, there are 3 things I would like to highlight. The first is the kitchen that is really well equipped which allowed us to cook at home instead of going out. The second is the pool, it's a pool without chemicals, the water comes from a well of the property. Finally and the greatest surprise is the bathrooms that are integrated in the room in an open space dynamic, it might sound strange but once you understand you can take a bath with a view for the landscape you might change your opinion.

Beautiful location in the Serra de São Mamede, comfortable home with one small private pool for each house. The views are gorgeous and the local dog Goa is adorable. Nice package of local products much appreciated!

Francisco nicely let us check in early but the 5-8 pm check in time seems a bit late. In the Ocre house, there is a big difference between the two bedrooms. It didn’t matter to us since we were staying for only 2 days but there is no closet nor shelves.

Our experience at Vigias house was fantastic. We spent a few days with the family there and had an amazing time. The house had everything we needed and the owner, Francisco, was very attentive and helpful at all time. It is worth noting how spectacular the sky looks at night.
