The yurt was so comfortable and inviting.I wish we could have stayed all week !

Was great - such a cute cabin and with the heater it gets really warm! The cafe was great and staff very friendly but feels like a long way from the cabin so you are still secluded.

- The yurt is stunning, finished to an impeccably high standard - really impressive. Even the bathroom is exceptional! Also very warm. - The surrounding area is also beautiful. We had a great time chilling inside and sitting outside with the log burner. - Super quiet nearby, this may depend on who stays in the other yurt but they are spaced a reasonable distance away from each other. - Host was friendly.

- Very muddy trek on the way up - the owner has definitely tried to alleviate this with wood chipping but just be prepared if mobility impaired or carrying a lot of stuff. - Breakfast included in the price but not provided and no where nearby to get food. Fortunately we did bring some food anyway as leaving the yurt trudging through the mud in the dark would have been very difficult. - No WiFi but advertised as having this. - No key to lock the yurt which feels like a slight security risk given there is another yurt nearby.

All staff were super welcoming and friendly. The location of the Yurt was up a bit of a hill but incredibly peaceful and inside was super cosy and really well thought out. Also, we loved that it was a really relaxed atmosphere and only been running the 2 Yurts for about 18 months.

The only way to get to the Yurt was a 5 min walk up hill. Generally this was fine but a bit awkward carrying bags and dog bits. The staff did say they were looking at improving the track as it was pure mud so couldn't drive up it currently. Not the end of the world though.

The cabin itself was incredibly beautiful from the inside out, the pretty lights, the decor, the bathroom.. The bed.. It was all very clean and comfortable with lots of attention to detail! I like the faith in nature products available to use in the bathroom too.

We booked on booking.com and nowhere did it state that the property isn't accessible. If you had lots of bags, a pram, a wheelchair, any mobility difficulty think twice before booking because it is incredibly difficult to get to your cabin.. In order to get to your cabin you have to trench through calf thick mud up steep hillsides.. It took 10 mins to walk from the car park up the hills through thick mud that I was getting stuck in with each step. In the dark there is no lighting to guide you through the mud… It was an awful experience. And definitely not for those with any mobility issues. There was also unfortunately no key inside to lock the cabin at night or if you choose to go out for the day and no way to lock it from the inside should you want to feel safe. The kettle would have been a wonderful addition if there were two mugs. One mug had hole in the bottom exposing the metal from the outside. There was also no coffee or sugar or spoons to make tea. On the FAQ someone asked “can I park by my cabin” the owner answered “yes” unfortunately this isn't true and If this was made clear on the description we would not have booked. The cabin- beautiful but it was most definitely let down by the rest. It would have been a great addition to have the option to be taken up by the owner in their 4x4 car.

So cozy and warm! Bed very comfy! Perfect for a solo night away to recharge! Lovely views and lovely toiletries in the shower! Was warned it can get chilly at night but honestly I was toasty warm the whole time!! The heater in there did a great job! I forgot my iPad charger and to my astonishment there was a cable provided on the desk which was a godsend!!

I paid a price that included breakfast which understandably wasn’t available because it was New Year’s Day but some croissants in the room would have made up for it! Owners did message to tell me in advance though so can’t fault that! Make sure you bring wellies and a brollie… I got soaked to the skin walking back to my car but that’s the price you pay for beauty and isolation!
