The Boathouse Pulau Tioman

Rust en netheid, zeer vriendelijk en toegewijd personeel. Hele resort is pas een half jaar oud en ziet er schitterend uit. Mooi zwembad met wat ligbedden direct aan de zee. Echt genieten hier met goed eten. Als de boot aankomt in Genting word je opgehaald zodat je binnen 10 minuten al op de locatie bent. Echt een aanrader, dit resort.

It is a new hotel at Tioman Island, suggest can increase the variety of foods, also the entertainment facility in the hotel. If not, there is not much things that can do in the hotel

El hotel tiene instalaciones modernas y bien equipado. Perfectamente integrado en el paisaje.

El hotel lleva abierto dos meses y el personal, aunque entusiasta y encantador, es poco profesional.

Our stay was perfect. To be completely honest, there were a few (very!) minor things to improve on: some of the staff was obviously new to the job, the wine list was composed of one red and one white wine, some of the facilities were not finished yet (e.g. dive shop). That being said, everyone was super-friendly, helpful, motivated - we had an absolutely great time, my daughter and me. No problem stayed unsolved. The rooms were more than comfortable, the architecture of the place is beautiful, the setting on the beach and near the pool is gorgeous. If somehow possible, we will return, hopefully with all of my three daughters. Warmest thanks to the management of the hotel and of the group (and to the operations team), who are doing a difficult job in a complicated legal, tax, technical, etc. environment, but who recruited a team of motivated and cheerful young people putting real effort in their work, who are thriving for perfection, and who earned my admiration for the open-minded attitude to improvement and learning. Bravo! On a side note: we hiked in the jungle, we went for diving, was real fun. All (perfectly!) organised by the resort.

The trip from Singapore is a bit tiring - the ferry brought us reliably there and back, but that seems not always to be the case. The local hiking paths could be improved, and made safer. Tioman is a pearl, a little bit of investment would make a big difference.

Komfortables, sauberes tolles Zimmer, leider ohne Meerblick, obwohl ich um hunderte Ringgit bei booking com mehr zahlte als die anderen Gäste direkt. DIe meisten Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bemüht, Fragen zu beantworten. Wenn man ausschließlich Ruhe will, ist es sehr gut, da es nur auf dem Seeweg erreichbar ist. Sauberer Pool, aber Liegen für alle Gäste fehlen.

Das Essen könnte abwechslungsreicher sein, tw. war das Fleisch nicht warm genug, Dessertbuffet war immer das gleiche. Das Hotel hat kein eigenes Boot zur Verfügung gestellt, Shuttle war sehr teuer, ebenso waren Ausflüge fast 3x so teuer als in der Nachbarortschaft oder in anderen Hotels. Die Freizeitmöglichkeiten sind sehr beschränkt, es gibt auch keinen Spabereich. Den Willkommensrabatt von 20% auf alle Konsumationen habe ich trotz Nachfrage nicht bekommen. Die Hotelgäste, die direkt buchen, bekamen diesen. Was ich besonders schade für ein 5-Sterne Hotel finde, war die Reaktion auf meinen Sturz vor der Abreise von den Stufen vor dem Zimmer, da es in aller Früh kein Licht dort gab. Es wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt, ob mir was passiert sei. Nachdem ich gesehen hatte, dass mein Knie blutete, verlangte ich wenigstens ein Pflaster, das habe ich dann wortlos bekommen.

C’est un véritable havre de paix ! Le personnel est aux petits soins ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour qui nous a semblé trop court !

La carte du restaurant est à étoffer et améliorer. Petit bémol pr le chiffon retrouvé dans notre lit le deuxième soir 😬.
