United Colors of Lembongan

At the risk of receiving a scathing comment from management, I'll write a long review of our experience! It was our first visit to Lembongan and looking online can be incredibly challenging when every place has amazing pictures and reviews, so I hope my feedback helps the discerning traveler make an informed decision on their stay! The location was superb and loved the massage place next door. Property was easy to find, though it may have been nice to know you need to walk down the alleyway to access, but now we know all beachfront properties in this area need to do this 😊 Leslie the host gave lots of recommendations and was very responsive via whatsapp to any requests, staff were great, and helpful with extra requests when I became quite ill. Sarongs for beach use were a lovely touch, shame they wouldn't let us buy them, I loved the colours! I only get to travel once a year and use these comments to help me decide on the best accomodation to suit my needs, so welcome to my detailed account!

After being a little disappointed by our choice of accomodation, I went back and set the review filter to only see the poor/very poor ratings and was absolutely appalled by managements comments to feedback. I will never stay again at a United Colours property purely based on the unprofessionalism. The snarkiness and belittling of people providing helpful information to others is downright rude. People use the negative comments to decide if a property suits their needs. It's helpful! So anyways, heres my feed back and I'm glad I'm aware ahead of time for the rudeness to come! Aircon smell was overpowering, had to go buy incense, despite the extra air purifier in the room. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable and I got a severe neck ache and not much sleep. I severely regretted not bringing my own. We did request more but none available. I found on the third night the cushion was much better so was able to sleep with no pain, though still restless sleeping on a small cushion! Shout out to Ulian Spa next door to help solve neck pain. The pictures are very deceiving, pool is very small and not that inviting to sit around. The wooden door to bathroom didn't close so my partner clunked it loudly, not suitable for a sensitive sleeper. Same for the front door, very noisy to open and close and irritating if you are cooped up in bed with fever and chills and someone coming in and out to fetch you supplies. Very uncomfortable place to be stuck in bed for two days, I purposely picked a place with no TV but didn't count on a dose of Bali belly! It would have been nice to have some chairs to take in the sunset at the beach, as some days we didn't want to buy drinks/food from the neighbouring restaurants to enjoy the view. There is mould growing on the bathroom walls in couple of spots, though the cleanliness was good overall.

Отличное расположение, рядом с пляжем, в бунгало есть все необходимое. Рядом много вариантов купить экскурсию на скатов и подводный мир, в том числе у милой хозяйки. Относительно недалеко отличный ресторан с индийской кухней, пожалуй, лучшее что есть на острове с отличными коктейлями и винной картой.

Нет такого, за такие деньги супер!

We loved the vibe and the styling of the rooms and they were clean. Very good breakfast included in our price.

The pool was very small and we were disappointed that there were no lounge chairs on the beachfront from this accommodation. They did let us take two bean bags and sit under the tree on the beachfront with them. So that made it ok.

The hotel is at the end of long lane with uneven surface. Bit of a hike with suitcases. To clarify, we are an older couple, probably ok for younger ones

Lovely big rooms beside the beach.

Alles! Vor allem die liebevolle Betreuung. Die Lage war Mega. Frühstück super lecker. Alles so liebevoll vorbereitet und geschmückt. Es war alles perfekt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Haben statt 4 sogar auf 7 Nächte gebucht weil es uns so gut gefallen hat.
