Property Notes

Please note that the schedule for the ferry between Taboga and Panama City is very strict. Guests are kindly advised to get in touch with the property right after booking for more information and transportation arrangements. Guests can avail free shuttle transfer upon booking , on request. Cancelations after the cancelation period will be charged. On arrival to Taboga a local taxi is recommended because Cerrito is at the edge of the village. We welcome pets in the suites, not the rooms, there is an additional charge for pets, and they must be pre-approved. Potable drinking water outside of Panama City is rare and Taboga is no exception. The tap water is not potable. Please bring water or you can buy it from the shop nearby. Home made full BREAKFAST at additional charge which you can pay when booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Ruhig und entspannt mit tollem Blick und netter Gastgeberin !"

Vicky ist eine großartige Gastgeberin ! Der Blick vom Pool ist einmalig und es ist sehr ruhig und entspannt Frühstück gegen Aufpreis ist super und man bekommt einen Discounter im Restaurant im Ort, auch dort ist das Essen ausgezeichnet. Und man kann es sich auch liefern lassen, falls man nicht den steilen Hügel nochmals erklimmen möchte :) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt !

"Great views and excellent value."

It was in a great location with excellent views across to Panamá City with all the ships waiting to enter the Canal. Vicky was very helpful and gave us lots of information. The pool is only small but very clean and refreshing. Vicky makes a mean Pina Colada! They offer free pickup and drop off to the ferry.

The hill up to the Lodge is quite steep.

Vikie est une hôte très accueillante, elle nous a bien aidé et bien renseigné sur les activités à faire. Le transport gratuit est très pratique pour accéder au lodge. Le petit déjeuner est bon et la chambre est propre.

La chambre manque légèrement d’investissement et les équipement sont sommaire mais pour une nuit c’est bien correct. La chambre sent légèrement le renfermé et l’humidité. Mais encore une fois pour une nuit c’est bien correct, vikie nous a proposé l’option d’une autre chambre.

"It is an ok hostel, not an eco lodge. Not worth the cost. You can get much better places for the same amount. Room 3 not"

The property has a nice view, only certain rooms have access to this view. The bed was comfortable

Room 3 did not have a view. The sliding doors face the walk way so there is no privacy. You have to close the blackout curtains all the time. The walk up the hill is fine, but certainly not for everyone. It is very steep. You have to pay $2 pp every time you want to go up or down. Not for elderly, small children or people with disabilities. The most disappointing was the shower. The Ac Tube drains onto the shower . See pictures
