Piazza Verdi Liberty House

The apartment is located close to the historical centre of Lecce, so I could walk everywhere, it was very convenient. The host was very nice and was responding very quickly. There was a leaking sink in the kitchen which was repaired soon after I flagged it.

The smell in the apartment is quite uncomfortable. There is a very old wardrobe which smells intensely, I couldn't use it. Even after hours of open windows, the smell wasn't gone.

Apartment was lovely, very stylish in a historical building with beautiful features. Very comfortable bed too. Excellent location within a short walk to all the sites.

We made an arrangement for check in and it was changed making our check in very traumatic as we don't have data on our phone and rely on wifi. We weren't met at the specified time, we waited half an hour and then went to find some wifi. Then we found a message with description of how to check in. Very frustrating

Great location and very friendly host

The kitchen lacked adequate cooking utensils. It would have been helpful to have a sharp knife, cutting board, frypan and proper saucepan. Wine glasses would also have been useful. Being the lower level apartment it suffered from mould and water inundation when we had an evening thunderstorm.
