"My Weekend Trip at Basuki Retreat Center"

The host and other guests were very hospitable. The surrounding area was beautiful and the room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my stay and felt that the price to service ratio was excellent.

The door to my room didn't close, luckily this was not a big issue since the area is safe and secluded. The walls were also quite thin so the outside noises were quite loud, especially from the neighboring property.

"A spiritual place you shouldn’t miss"

We haven’t felt any more welcomed than at Basuki Retreat Center. Yuli went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were arriving in the middle of the afternoon feeling hungry and he went off immediately to bring us some yummy home cooked meals from his mum. He organized the temple entrance tickets and gave us a tour through the temple knowing all the facts and details we wanted to know. He is such a welcoming, warm and smiling person and we are so grateful for meeting him. He also ensured we could have a session with his dad, Mangko Yati who was also simply amazing and took time to give us a reading and blessing . There are not many people I have met with such an aura and warm eyes. The rooms are spacious, everything is functioning, there is a nice common area with table, sofa and kitchen that can be used. The temple is just a couple of minutes away. This stay was a very spiritual experience for us that we wouldn’t have wanted to miss.
