Cabanas by Cloudz Sigiriya

Cloudz has lovely rustic thatched-roof cabanas in a peaceful rural setting. I loved the huge comfortable four-poster bed with mosquito netting. There was also an outdoor bathroom which was quite nice - it was lovely to have a shower under the sky. I also liked relaxing outdoors on the wicker recliner chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and helped me arrange a driver for half a day to see Lion Rock. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay in this mid-range accommodation.

The downside of staying in a traditional cabana is that it is a little dark inside if you have the wooden windows closed (but you can just turn on the light!) The wifi could be patchy at times but that seems pretty standard for Sri Lanka.

Nice swimming pool. Nice bed.

Meals were poor ingredients badly cooked and expensive for what they were. Remote location down dirt roads so very hard to get to and no other restaurant choices or activities nearby. Wifi was barely functional. Grounds were run down and needed replanting.

Everything about this place is perfect from the location to the attentive manager. Anthony made my time at Cloudz Sigiriya unforgettable and went out of his way to ensure my stay was as comfortable, unique and lovely as possible from cooking delicious meals to planning awesome days out. Absolutely book this place if you’re planning on going to Sigiriya.

Cabanas by Cloudz Sigirya and the manager Anthony are new on booking.com, that's why there're not many reviews. Don't hesitate to come to these beautiful cabanas. Clean big rooms with ensuite big open bathrooms. A nice mix of traditional rooms with all the luxe you need. There's a nice, very clean swimmingpool. Breakfast and diner are outstanding. It's also near the well-known Roy's Villa. The area is very beautiful. Dambulla as well as Sigirya are easily to reach with the bus or tuktuk. Anthony, who has a lot of experience, welcomes you with fruit juice or milkshake.. We had three beautiful nights here. Highly recommended!

Dogs made noise occasionally More transparency about foodprice would be nice, (it's not the cheapest),but there's a great cook. Very nice food. Anthony treat us every day with fruitshake for free.

The place is amazing! I had a wonderful experience. Very beautiful garden, where I was meditating and doing my yoga practice. The rooms were clean, and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sigiriya!
