the owners were friendly and gave advice on where to eat. The location was good although car parking was problematic.

Our small room had no TV, no mirror and no bed reading lights…the heavily shrouded 40 watt globe mounted 2 ft from the bed did not provide enough light to allow normal reading. There was no real orange juice at breakfast. The reason given was that the dishwasher would leave the orange fibres on the glassware, forcing the owner to clean them separately. This did not seem to present a problem at any other place we stayed. No fruit was offered and we were advised that hot food was forbidden to be served to guests….although it did not appear to extend to toast. A small approx 120mm x 200mm mirror was provided in the shared bathroom (the owner being the other sharing person), however it was mounted so high that my wife was unable to effectively use it. The owners used teeth cleaning items were scattered on the single shelf in the bathroom . We arrived early intending to only say Hello. We were kindly given keys to use when we later returned at our agreed arrival time. It certainly was not what we expected.

La salle de bain était avec des équipements sommaires. L'accueil de madame n'était pas très chaleureux. L'établissement n'est pas très adapté à l'accueil de vélos.

Comfortable rooms, friendly and generous hosts. Short walk to the main shops and restaurants of Bridport, short drive to West Bay. Included breakfast is a bonus

Het was er vies. Moest haren en stof van nachtkastje halen. Aparte gedeelde badkamer had 4 vuile matten op de grond. De kamer op 2 hoog was erg warm, geen ventilator.
