A long walk to the centre. Helpful to have a car.
GBWe felt very much at home at Mel's . It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The garden was a real sun trap. Pontefract is a lovely town to explore and the castle is well worth a visit. The Carleton pub is a 5 min walk up the road and serves some great food and has plenty of things going on. The AV charger was a great addition for us and a rare find!
Maybe a bed in the 2nd room as the sofa bed was a tad hard
