The location.

The most unpleasant landlord I have experienced in my 44 years of traveling a lot. I had a group of young people with me from Sweden and when I booked 3 extra apartments for them. I tried to get hold of the landlord the day before to see when we could get the keys the next day. We had a full schedule and I needed to know when we could get the keys. He didn't answer until 00:30 after midnight and then I just got a message that we couldn't get the two room apartment which was important when I booked. He offered me a worse alternative but it would be more expensive. I said I'm not going to pay extra for something worse than what I booked. He drove me crazy, absolutely zero service, he just wants to milk you for money but completely ignores you. So he disturbed my sleep and got so angry that I didn't want to pay more so he canceled all my bookings. There we were, 9 people, without anywhere to live. I managed to find accommodation for 2 nights for the team, and then booked 2 two bedroom apartments for 4 nights via booking. Since I booked the day before, the apartments were not free to cancel. To my horror, I discovered that after I booked that one apartment was owned by the same landlord. When we were supposed to meet to get the key, he says that the apartment is not available but offers a 1 bedroom apartment so 4 men had to squeeze into a small apartment even though we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Then he demanded that I cancel the apartment, which I didn't get, but I said that it wasn't me who canceled, it was you who didn't give us what we booked. But he got angry because he had to pay 70 euros to Booking, but if I had canceled I would not have had to pay the full sum of 370 euros. But he was furious and turned off the electricity and water to the new apartment that we had paid for and still had 3 nights left to stay there.

We booked the property in the morning but the owner didn't answer neither on booking nor in WhatsApp. We sent several messages and called before we came. When we came at 4pm there was nobody waiting for us, so we had to find another apartment urgently. The owner responded only in the evening, after we left and found another place to stay. Don't recommend this host if you need to make a booking several hours before your arrival

Apartment located in modern part of city, near to big shopping mall and actually not so far from the center (~10 min by car)

Wi-Fi was not working during the first day of our staying. Looks like owner didn’t pay enough attention to our troubles.
