Oceanfront Paradise with private lanai overlooking Kailua Bay

The view from that balcony was excellent and it was very private. It was within easy walking distance from a liquor store that sold many other foodstuffs

The property was not near any restaurants (walking distance) The Pool was closed one day for tree cutting I noted complaints fro other customers that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property including tHe balconies. Apparently there used to be smoking areas throughout the property.

It was right off the water. Was within walking distance of a few small beaches where you can swim, snorkel and sun. It’s an easy walking distance to the town/resort area or you can hop a shuttle. It’s about a 1.5 mile away. The outdoor facilities where well kept and clean. BBQs and picnic tables outside were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. This is also a great area to star gaze at night. The sound of the ocean was wonderful. The coffee shop out front was really good. Oh, there is also a farmer’s market within walking distance, up the road and little market place in the opposite direction about 3 miles down the road.

The ice maker and water dispenser on the refrigerator didn’t work at all. We had a little problem with roaches in the condo. Killed 5, at least 2 came in from outside, when the screen was accidentally left open to long. Although the bedroom had a window, the light coming through it was from the lights in the staircase outside. Depending on where you’re visiting from, the light shining though can be deceiving.
