*****Stay Away from This Property – Serious Safety and Behavior Issues***** I stayed at this property for 8 days due to work needs (mostly online), and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The owner was extremely rude, abusive, and unprofessional—yelling, using foul language, and banging on my door during meetings. On one occasion, the microwave wasn’t turning on. Although the owner had said he’d be available to help anytime, he refused to come downstairs and mocked me instead, saying, “Have you never used a microwave in your life?” Eventually, it turned on by itself, but the response was totally uncalled for. Later that day, after I cleaned the kitchen and left some food containers on the counter to return them shortly, the owner began banging on my room door during an important meeting. When I stepped out, he shouted aggressively, demanding I remove the containers, then screamed, “Take all your f***ing items and leave the house.” This was shocking and humiliating. I called Booking.com asking for a refund to move out due to the impact on my safety and self-esteem. Their initial response was poor, saying only the owner could cancel. After a lot of back-and-forth, the owner agreed, and Booking.com finally processed it. After using Booking.com for over 15 years, this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave a negative review—which says a lot. If you value your peace of mind and personal safety, stay away from this place. Consider reputable alternatives like EasyHotel or similar.
